I am Rob Dickinson. My Grandfather was Walter Hadden of Dunmacmay. He was one of six sibling, the other 5 being Fanny, John, William, Hans and Alfred. There father was William. They lived on a farm bordering on the Blackwater River, which separates County Tyrone from County Monaghan. I  was lucky enough to visit the farm in 2011. It has been unoccupied since 1952 bit it must have been quite the place in it's day. After William and his wife died, the farm came into my grandfathers name. In 1927 he emigrated to Canada where he lived the rest of his life. I have much information on the Haddens on my family tree and if you would like to review it, email me at  robdickinson@rogers.com and I will be happy to invite you to view it.

Nice to see your photos. Do you know when the house was built? Several generations of my Linn/Lynn ancestors held leases for all or part of Dunmacmay from about 1715 or before until 1793 or later. The first two generations each was styled a "Gentleman of Dunmacmay". If I ever get to Ireland, I'd love to see the property. Loretta Layman nee Lynn, Carroll Valley, Pennsylvania.
